EGSA Committees
EGSA is structured through decentralized committees. Committees allow students with similar goals to organize and coordinate their efforts. Committees are flexible - new committees can be formed or old committees can be dropped or changed to fit the needs of the student body. Committees are a great way to get more involved with the graduate group and meet students from across cohorts. There are frequently opportunities to take on leadership roles to gain experience managing projects. At the same time, there are also opportunities to take on small roles to help coordinate events or activities. Many hands make light work - through the committees, students are able to organize impactful events all while navigating research and graduate student life.
