In addition to our more serious role within the GGE, we are serious about hosting fun events. The Social Committee organizes graduate group social hours, mixers with other graduate organizations, events at orientation and recruitment, and assorted less formal events throughout the year. There is also a weekly happy hour at Sophia’s Thai Bar & Kitchen in downtown Davis.
